Day 1 –
Arrive in Mumbai, transfer to Taj Mahal Palace hotel
   
 
Day 2 – (mumbai)
Breakfast at the hotel & Tour of Mumbai & Elephanta caves.
Dinner at Mahesh Lunch Home, a Mangalorean restaurant serving Mumbai for the last 30 years – Malvani/Konkani speciality restaurant
   
 
Day 3 – (mumbai) 

Early morning visit to Mazagaon ferry wharf to see fresh catch unload.

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Walk around Colaba causeway, the oldest part of Mumbai
  • Ajoy’s demonstration of Patra ni machchi & light lunch at the hotel
Dinner at Jimmy Boy Café in Fort – A Parsi speciality restaurant and night drive around inner Mumbai
   
 
Day 4 – (mumbai) 
  • Breakfast at Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai
  • Arrive in Goa, transfer to Taj Aguada resort & Lunch at Taj Aguada resort
  • Explore the resort and surrounds
  • “An hour of Goa” by Ajoy
Dinner at Souza lobo at Calangute beach, Goa
   
 
Day 5 – (Goa)
  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Sightseeing tour of Goa
Dinner preceded by an evening demonstration of Chicken xacuti and use of spices by Ajoy
   
 
Day 6 –(Goa)
  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Sightseeing tour of Vasco & Panjim
  • Lunch at Martins Corner in Betalbaltim beach
Dinner demonstration of Fish Reichado outdoors followed by barbeque dinner at the hotel
   
 
Day 7 – (Goa)
  • Breakfast at Taj Aguada resort, Goa
  • Light lunch at hotel in Goa
  • Arrive at Cochin, Transfer to Taj Malabar
  • Kathkali performance at the hotel.
  • Dinner at Rice Boat restaurant in the hotel
After Dinner catch up to discuss the week ahead
   
 
Day 8 - (cochin)
  • Breakfast at Hotel & Half day sightseeing tour visiting The Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets and the Church.
  • Lunch at Hotel & Afternoon free – those interested can take a boat trip from the hotel on the backwaters.
This evening we shall take you to an Indian home for authentic home cooked Kerala dinner.
   
 
Day 9 – Cochin/Munnar
  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Drive to Munnar – the Tea country. Most Tata tea is planted here.
  • Afternoon visit the Eravikulam Wildlife Park  where you would be able to see the only species of mountain goat.
Overnight at the Hotel Tea County .
   
 
Day 10 – Munnar/Periyar Wildlife sanctuary
  • Breakfast at Tea County
  • Drive to Thekkedy – the town located outside the Periyar Wildlife Park
  • Arrive at Taj retreat
  • Lunch at the hotel.
  • This afternoon you would visit the Wildlife Park by motor boat.

Day 11 - Thekkady
  •  Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Visit to spice plantation and demonstration by Ajoy about spices and lunch at the plantation
  • Return to hotel – afternoon is free.

Day 12 – Thekkady/Alleppey boat jetty
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Drive to Alleppey and board the Houseboat for the overnight stay.
  • Lunch on the Houseboat and in the afternoon you would sail in the canals of backwaters where you would be able to see the daily chores of people living in the small villages on the banks of backwaters.
  • Dinner and Demonstration  of Kerala cuisine by Ajoy including ingredients and produce.
Overnight on the Houseboat. 
   
 
Day 13 - Alleppy/Trivandrum (Kovalam)
  • Breakfast on the boat and then sail to the boat jetty in Alleppey.
  • Drive from Alleppey to Kovalam by coach.
  • Arrive at Taj Green cove by lunch time
  • Sightseeing tour of Trivandrum visiting the Napier Museum, Chitra Art Galley and Padmanabha Temple
  Dinner at the hotel.
   
 
Day 14 - Kovalam
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Day free to relax on the beach. Those interested can take an optional trip to Cape Comorin or Kanya Kumar (the southern most tip of India). Lunch will be either at the hotel or in Kanyakumari.
Bar-be-que dinner on the beach organized by Taj Green Cove.
   
 
Day 15 – Trivandrum to sydney
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Hotel check-out time is 12 noon.
  • In the afternoon you can either go for a walk or use the spa etc. at the hotel.
Late evening transfer to airport for your flight to  Singapore and Sydney. Dinner is not included.
